Ingredients
Salmon - Use fresh salmon or thaw frozen salmon to be able to cut them into bite sizes. I recommend using boneless salmon for this recipe.
Paprika - Hot or regular Paprika works fine for this recipe.
Black pepper- This can be substituted for cayenne or any other pepper. Adjust quantity to your taste.
Butter - Use salted or unsalted butter.
Garlic - Fresh garlic works best but can be substituted for garlic paste or granules.
Parsley- I like to add this herb to my garlic butter. You can leave it out or substitute it for another herb like
Salt- To taste
Olive oil- You can substitute this for canola oil, sunflower oil, or any other flavorless oil.
Seasoning Salmon Bites - Here are other seasonings that go well with salmon: Cajun seasoning, salmon seasoning, Tilapia Seasoning, and cod seasoning. Use a tablespoon of any of these for every 500g of salmon.

How To Cut Salmon Into Cubes
Place salmon fillet on a chopping board on a flat surface.
Hold the fillet with one hand, and with the other hand, use a sharp knife to cut salmon into bite size cubes of 1 inch (or the size you prefer).
How To Make Salmon Bites
Mix paprika, onion granules, black pepper and salt.
Cut- Cut salmon fillets into cubes and add them to a bowl.
Season- Add the seasoning to the cubed salmon and gently rub the seasoning in to cover the salmon.
Pan fry salmon bites- Place a skillet on medium heat. Add olive and when heated, gently arrange the salmon cubes in the pan.
Fry salmon bites for 1-2 minutes without moving them then use a tong to flip them and fry the other side for another 1-2 minutes.
Drain the oil from the skillet and return the skillet to the stove.
Add the butter, garlic, and parsley to the pan.
Toss the salmon cubes in the garlic butter.
Take off the heat and serve.
How To Make It In The Air Fryer
If you prefer to make it in the air fryer, here's how to go about it:
- After seasoning the diced salmon, arrange them in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 6 minutes at 180C/380F.
- Transfer the salmon bites to a bowl then immediately add butter, garlic, and parsley.
- Serve and enjoy.

- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- ½ teaspoon Onion granules
