Place a cast iron skillet on high heat, add olive oil then add the steak. Sear each side for 1-2 minutes then reduce to medium heat and cook steaks to your desired doneness.
Add butter, garlic, and parsley to the skillet, and when the butter is melted and the garlic toasted and fragrance (about a minute), scoop the garlic butter and drizzle on the steaks.
Take the pan off the heat.
Transfer the steaks on to a plate and rest the steaks for a few minutes before cutting them.

After marinating and bringing the steaks to room temperature, add oil to the skillet and heat on medium heat. Add the steaks and sear for 1-2 minutes, flip the steaks and sear for another 1-2 minutes.
Add the garlic butter and transfer the skillet to a preheated oven.
Bake steaks at a temperature of 400F/200C till the internal temperature reach your desired doneness.
