Brush with lemon juice then season with salt and pepper.
Then brush one side with olive oil then arrange in air fryer basket with the oiled part to the basket. Brush the top of the fillets with olive oil then close the AF.
Set air fryer to 180C/356F and air fry fish for 6-10 minutes or until cooked through and flaky.
It's ready when it flakes with a fork.
Bring out and serve.
If using garlic butter sauce, add immediately.
Air Fryer Frozen Fish
You can cook frozen fish in the air fryer. If it's store-bought frozen breaded fillets, cook from frozen without thawing. Just arrange them in a single layer in the AF basket and cook at a temperature of 175C for 10-15 minutes. Add additional time if need be depending on the thickness of fillets or loins and model of the air fryer.
For the unseasoned and unbreaded, thaw first before cooking. You can quickly thaw by running the fish under water. When it's defrosted, drain the water, and pat dry before seasoning.
To check if fish is cooked, you can use an instant thermometer to check the internal temperature. It's safe to eat if the temperature is 145F/62C.
