    The potato wedges are seasoned with a combination of herbs and spices that gives them an amazing flavor. They taste absolutely delicious! The spices and herbs I used in this potato wedges seasoning are paprika, parsley, dried thyme, garlic powder, onion granules, black pepper, and salt.

    I also just sometimes use my homemade potato seasoning for making potatoes wedges. You can use other seasonings like Italian seasoning, and vegetable seasoning.

    Seasoning potato wedges before air frying them is easy and quick. After cutting the potatoes into wedges and soaking them, pat them dry with paper towels, add the potatoes, seasoning, and oil into a bowl and mix till well combined and the potatoes are evenly coated in the seasoning.

    How To Cut Potato Into Wedges

    Wash the potatoes and pat them dry.

    Place a potato flat on its side.

    Use a sharp knife to cut the potato in half lengthwise.

    Cut the halves into other halves to form quarters.

    Place each quarter side up, and slice the center of the quarter down to form wedge.

    Here's how to cook potato wedges in air fryer:

    Wash the potatoes, cut them into wedges, and soak them in cold water for 30 minutes.

    You can peel the skin off the potatoes if you prefer. I do this most of the time.

    Drain the water, and pat the wedges dry with paper towels. Adds paprika, parsley, dried thyme, garlic powder, onion granules, black pepper, salt, and oil. Mix till they are well combined.

    Lay the wedges in the air fryer basket or tray and air fry at a temperature of 400F/200C for 20-25 minutes depending on the thickness. Shake the basket halfway through cooking or every 7 minutes.

    The potato wedges are done cooking once the outer layer has a nice crisp coating to it and has turned golden brown, and the inside is tender and fluffy.

    Remove them from the air fryer basket and serve with sides of choice.

    How Long To Cook Potato Wedges In Air Fryer

    Depending on how thick the wedges are cut into, the quantity in the air fryer, model, size, and type of air fryer, and at what temperature it's cooked, how long to cook potato wedges in the air fryer is around 20-25 minutes.

    How long to cook frozen potato wedges in air fryer is between 25-30 minutes at a temperature of 400F/200C.

    The potatoes are cooked when the inside is fluffy, and the outer crispy. You can check this by inserting a fork into the wedges.

    This recipe was made in our Cosori 5.5l air fryer. Other air fryers we own and have tested this recipe in are Probreeze, Power Xl, and Instant pot Vortex. Other popular air fryer brands are Ninja, Phillips, and Gourmia.

    As I mentioned earlier, potatoes go with almost anything! Some simple pairing ideas are listed below:

    How To Store

    They are best eaten when made, however, to store leftovers, let the wedges cool completely, then pack them in an airtight container or sealable bag/Ziploc then store in the refrigerator.

    To store In the fridge - Put the wedges in a sealable container or Ziploc, label them, and put in the fridge where they can be stored for up to 2 days.

    In the freezer: Put in a Ziploc or an airtight container, label with name and dates, and store in the freezer where it will store well for up to 6 months.

    Reheat potato wedges in the air fryer, oven, or in the microwave.

    To reheat in the air fryer - Arrange the potatoes wedges in the air fryer basket or in the oven style rack or tray, air fry at a temperature of 180C/380F for 4-6  minutes or until heated through to how you like it. When reheated in the air fryer, they crisp up nicely.
