Potatoes- I like to use Maris Piper. Other potatoes good for this recipe are King Edward, Yukon gold, Russet.

The best way to slice potatoes for this recipe is to use a chopping board and a sharp knife. Here's how to do it:
Wash or peel the potatoes then pat them dry.
Place a potato on a flat surface (chopping board). Hold it down firmly so it's stable.
Use a sharp knife to slice the potatoes into equal sizes.
Repeat the steps above to slice the remaining potatoes.
How To Air Fry Potato Slices

Peel the potatoes, wash them, and pat dry with paper towels. If you prefer not to peel the potatoes, wash the potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt on the skin then pat dry with a kitchen towel.

How long to cook potato slices in air fryer depends on the thickness or thinness of the slices, the texture of the potatoes, the brand, size, and wattage of the air fryer.
I have used Cosori air fryer, Probreeze, Power Xl for this recipe and the results were similar.
How long to cook sliced potatoes in air fryer at a temperature of 380F/180C is 12-18 minutes.
¼ inch thick slices-12-15 minutes
½ inch slices- 15-18 minutes.
It's cooked when the inside is fluffy and the outer crispy.
If you're making a recipe for the first time, I recommend you check on it often so as not to overcook.

Let the potato slices cool completely before packing them in a sealable container or Ziploc bag, then put in the fridge where they'll store well for up to 3 days or in the freezer where they'll keep well for up to 3 months.

To reheat in the air fryer: Arrange the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Set the air fryer to 180C/360F and air fry for 3 minutes or till they are warmed through.
To reheat in the oven, arrange the potatoes on a baking paper line tray, and bake in the oven at a temperature of 180C for 5 minutes or till they are heated through.

- You can leave the skin on the potatoes if you prefer. If so, wash thoroughly so they are clean.

- Don't slice the potatoes too thin as this recipe is not for potato crisps.
- If you have the time, soak the potatoes in water for 30 minutes to get rid of some of the starch and crisp better.
- Adjust salt and black pepper to your taste.
