Potatoes - I like to use Maris Piper potatoes, King Edwards, or red potatoes. You can use Yukon gold, Desiree, or any good potatoes.
Onions- Brown or Yellow onion works fine.

How To Make Potatoes and Onions in Air Fryer
Peel the potatoes, cut them into bite sizes, rinse and pat them dry.
You can leave the peel on if you like them that way but wash them thoroughly.
Remove the onion peel, wash and cut the onions ( Cut it bigger than the potatoes).
Put the cut potatoes, and onions into a mixing bowl, and add the parsley, rosemary, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, and olive oil. Mix till well combined.
Arrange the seasoned onions and potatoes in the air fryer.
Set the air fryer temperature to 200C/400F and air fry for 20 minutes or until cooked tender inside and crispy outer.
To make sure they are cooked evenly, shake the air fryer basket every 7 minutes during the cooking process.
Check with a fork or by taking a bite to know if done. The potatoes should be crispy on the outside and tender inside with a lightly golden-brown skin and the onion tender and caramelized.
Remove from the air fryer and serve.
How Long To Cook Potatoes and Onions In Air Fryer
The prep time to make this recipe is 5-10 minutes. At a temperature of 200C/400F, how long to cook potatoes and onions in the air fryer is 20 minutes. Once both vegetables start cooking in the air fryer, make sure you remove the basket every 7 minutes to shake it. This will allow the potatoes and onions to cook evenly.
Air frying potatoes and onions at a lower temperature will make the cooking time longer and cooking them at a temperature higher than 200C/400F will result in the outer burnt without the inside being cooked.

In the fridge- Allow the potatoes and onions to cool down, put them in an airtight container or sealable bag then put it in the fridge where it will keep well for up to 3 days.
In the freezer- To store it for longer and retain its taste, store it in the freezer. Pack the leftovers in an airtight container or sealable bag, label it and store in the freezer where it will be preserved for up to 2 months.
To Reheat- Reheating it in the air fryer is the best way to achieve the same result as you did the first time you cooked them in the air fryer. It will keep them crispy on the outside.
To reheat in the air fryer- Bring the potatoes and onions out of the fridge or freezer, take them out of the container, and place them in the air fryer basket.
Set the air fryer to 190C/380F and air fry for 5-7 minutes (depending on quantity, and whether it was stored in the fridge or freezer) or until warm and crispy.
Remove from the air fryer and serve.
Microwave: Place the potatoes and onions in a microwavable plate and spread them out evenly. Microwave on high speed for 2 minutes. To avoid getting a mushy result, microwave at 30 seconds intervals.
