Quick- If you want a quick side dish, that requires minimal prep, this is the one. No cutting of veggies is required and no need to thaw the vegetables which saves a lot of prep time. All you need is 8-10 minutes and you have a delicious buttered mixed vegetables side dish.

Here are what you will need to make this recipe:
Frozen mixed vegetables- I used frozen mixed vegetables but you can use farmhouse vegetables if that's what you have.
Butter- Unsalted butter should be the first choice but you can also use salted butter however taste the veggies before adding more salt.
Black pepper- Freshly ground is best. This can be substituted for cayenne pepper.
Salt
Garlic granules (optional) - This is optional but the flavor is perfect with mixed veggies.
Onion (optional)
How To Cook Frozen Vegetables On The Stove
Here's a step by step instructions on how to cook frozen vegetables without getting soggy:
Step 1- Place a skillet on medium heat. When the pan is heated, add the frozen vegetables.
Step 2- Stir and cook the mixed vegetables till the water dries up and the vegs tender (about 3-6 minutes). If not tender when the water has dried up, add 1-3 tablespoons of water or chicken broth and continue to cook till tender.
Step 3- Add butter, garlic granules, onion granules, black pepper, and salt.
Stir and cook till the butter is melted and the ingredients are all combined (1-2 minutes).
Take off the heat and serve.

Cheese- You can add Parmesan cheese. Add it at the time you add in the butter.
