    Jamaican Jerk Seasoning Recipe

Jamaican jerk seasoning is a mixture of spices that consist of hot peppers - scotch bonnet, all spice and ingredients like cinnamon, nutmeg, thyme and others. It is named after a method of cooking native to Jamaica where meat is marinated with with hot spice blend and holes poked in the meat to infuse flavour.

Jerk seasoning was originally used on chicken and pork, but is now widely used on shrimp, beef, fish, goat, lamb and vegetables.
