    How To Boil Asparagus

    Trim off the ends- Arrange the asparagus spears in a line facing the same way. Use a sharp knife to chop off the woody stems of the asparagus.

    Put water in a pot and bring it to a rapid boil on high heat.

    Add salt to the water then add in the asparagus.

    Boiling Asparagus In Microwave

    Boiling asparagus in a microwave doesn't require much water. You only need a tablespoon or two of water. To cook it in the microwave:

    Cut the woody ends off the asparagus.

    Wash asparagus and arrange it on a microwavable plate

    Sprinkle asparagus with a tablespoon of water then cover it with a microwave lid

    Microwave it on high for 3 minutes or till tender.

    Bring it out, and season it with salt and black pepper.

    Serve and enjoy.
