This air fryer breaded chicken breast recipe is so simple yet you get tasty, flavor packed crispy breaded chicken in air fryer that is crunchy on the outer, juicy, and tender on the inside. It is easy and quick to make and from prep to table, it can be ready in under 30 minutes. Let me show you how to make it.
Break the egg in a bowl, add salt and seasoning, then whisk.
Add breadcrumbs, flour, paprika, parsley, onion granules, garlic granules, pepper, and salt to another bowl. Mix till combined.
Dip chicken breast in the egg mixture to coat. If you prefer not to use egg, brush the chicken with olive oil instead.
Coat each chicken in the breadcrumb mix making sure all sides are covered.
Transfer breaded chicken to the air fryer basket in a single layer leaving space in between the chicken fillets.
Spray the top of each chicken fillet with cooking spray.
Air fry at a temperature of 400F/200C for 12-15 minutes. After 8 minutes, gently flip the chicken and continue to cook for 7 minutes depending on the size of the chicken. It is cooked when the skin is golden brown and crispy, and the inside is tender. The internal temperature when checked with an instant thermometer should be at least 165F.

There's no need to preheat the air fryer for this recipe.
Use equal-sized chicken if possible so they cook evenly.
You can use a meat mallet to flatten the chicken breast into even thickness.
Gently flip the chicken breasts halfway into the cooking time to crisp the other side.
Cook chicken to an internal temperature of at least 165F/75C.
You can add any other herb of your choice to the seasoning.
