Instructions
Peel the skin off then cut them into shapes. They can be cut into any shape of your choice be it cubed, or sliced, however, cut them into equal sizes.
Rinse the sweet potatoes, strain and add them to a pot.
Add water to cover the potatoes by at least 1 inch the add in salt.
Cover the pot, put on the stove, and boil sweet potatoes till they are tender (about 10-12 minutes).
When it is fork tender, take off the heat and drain.
Serve and enjoy.
Notes
If not peeling the potatoes, wash them to get rid of any dirt that might be on them.
Cut into equal sizes so they cook evenly.
You can add seasoning of your choice after boiling. I sometimes like to add suya spice to mine.
Use leftovers in hash, casseroles, and salads.
It's best served hot.
