Instant pot salmon is easy, quick, delicious and great for those on low carb, keto, whole 30, paleo diet or anyone who just want simple delicious meal. This instant pot salmon recipe makes use of few ingredients and cook in just few minutes. Let me show you how i cook salmon in the instant pot from frozen or fresh.
1tablespoonItalian seasoningor ¼ teaspoon each thyme, basil, rosemary and organo
1-2tablespoonOlive oil
1wholeLemonsliced
Saltto taste
1cup Water
Instructions
Slice the whole lemon into thin slices.
Mix oil, paprika, Italian seasoning, black pepper and salt together to form the marinade.
Rub salmon fillets with the marinade ensuring all parts are well covered.
Pour water in the pot of the instant pot then place trivet in the pot.
Arrange marinated salmon fillets in single layer on the trivet then place lemon slices on them. Make sure the lemon slices are equally distributed on them.
Close the instant pot with it's lid and turn the vent to sealing position. Set to manual pressure cook high (5 minutes for frozen fillets or 3 minutes for fresh) and after the cook time, do a quick release.
When the instant pot is depressurised and safe to open, take off the lid and take out the cooked salmon fillets. Serve and enjoy.
