These instant pot chicken wings are juicy, tender, and super delicious. Cooking buffalo chicken wings in instant pot pressure cooker is easy, quick, and simple, and you can make this recipe using fresh or frozen chicken. Serve as an appetizer or dinner paired with sides.
Cut the wings into drummettes, flat and tips. Discard the tips
Make the buffalo sauce- Melt butter then add in the hot sauce, cayenne pepper and honey. Mix well and set aside.
Pat chicken wings dry with kitchen towel and season with salt then add the dry rub ingredients. Mix well with chicken.
Place trivet inside the inner pot of the instant pot and add ¾ cup water. Arrange seasoned chicken wings on trivet. Close and fasten instant pot lid and set to manual pressure cook 8 minutes. After 8 minutes pressure cook, do 6 minutes natural pressure release.
Put the cooked chicken wings in a bowl, add half of the buffalo sauce and mix. Arrange chicken wings on baking paper covered oven tray then broil for 6 minutes. Turn the sides and broil for another 6 minutes.
Put the broiled crispy chicken back in the bowl and add the remaining buffalo sauce.
Mix and serve.

You can serve with carrot, celery sticks and mayonaise or blue cheese or ranch dip.If cooking chicken wings from frozen, pressure cook for 12 minutes and natural pressure release for 6 minutes.You can double the buffalo sauce recipe if you like your wings very saucy.
