How To Marinate Chicken Wings

For best results marinate the chicken wings for 4 hours.
If you have leftovers, you can make the marinade into a sauce by pouring it into a saucepan and bringing it to a boil then add cornflour slurry to thicken it. The sauce can be used on cooked wings to make them sticky.
Make it as spicy as much as you like by adjusting the pepper quantity.
The marinade can be made and stored ahead.
Marinated chicken wings can be frozen and cooked from frozen when required.
If wings are frozen, it's best to thaw before marinating them.
