Rinse the Zucchini and place it on a chopping board.
Use a sharp knife to cut off the ends then slice the Zucchini into ½ - 1 inch thick slices. You can also cube or cut into cubes or any shape of your choice as long as they are similar in size.
Add water to a pot and put on high heat to bring it to a rapid boil.
Add salt to the water then add in the sliced Zucchini. Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low.
Boil zucchini for 3 minutes or till it is soft and tender.
When it is cooked fork tender, take it off the heat and drain the water in a strainer or colander.

Notes
