This oven baked frozen chicken breast recipe is easy, and the chicken comes out juicy, tender, packed full of flavor, and delicious. Learn how to bake frozen chicken breasts without thawing.
Bring out the chicken from the freezer and remove all packaging.
Arrange the chicken on a baking tray, put it in the oven, and bake at a temperature of 180C/390F for 5 minutes. Separate the chicken into individual pieces ( If the frozen chicken are already in individual pieces, omit this step).
In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, parsley, onion granules, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.
Brush the seasoning mix all over the chicken breasts covering all the sides.
Put the tray back in the oven and continue to bake chicken at a temperature of 400F/200C for 40 minutes or till it's cooked.
Bring out the tray, and rest the chicken for a few minutes.
Serve and enjoy.
Notes
If the chicken breasts are stuck together, put them in the oven for 5-6 minutes then separate them into individual pieces.
You can use any other seasoning of your choice.
Apply seasoning mix to all the chicken sides.
For it to be cooked safely to eat, the internal temperature at the thickest part when checked with an instant meat thermometer should be a minimum of 165F/75C.
Let the chicken rest for at least 5 minutes before cutting into it. This is so the juice has time to redistribute inside and doesn't pool out when you cut it.
