1) Pat the chicken dry and sprinkle the drumsticks with salt. Put them in a large bowl.
2) In a small bowl mix the orange juice, zest, paprika, black pepper, garlic, olive oil and ginger.
3) Pour3/4 of the marinade over the chicken. Mix the other 1/4 with honey and set aside.
4) Leave the chicken drumstick to marinate for 1 hour or more. It’s better if you leave to marinate ovenight however take the chicken out of the fridge 20 -30 minutes to reach room temperature before baking in the oven.
5) Arrange marinated chicken on baking sheet lined tray. Place the orange slices/ wedges on the chicken and put in the oven and bake at temperature of 200 C / 400F for 30 – 35 minutes.
6) Brush the chicken with the marinade/honey mixture and bake for another 5 -10 minutes.
7) Bring out of the oven and serve.
