This perfect fried sweet potatoes recipe uses less than 5 ingredients, it's budget-friendly and makes a good side dish that is tasty and filling.
I have simply used salt and pepper to season it for this post but I sometimes add parsley and rosemary. Sometimes i use Italian seasoning, or Peri Peri seasoning to switch up the taste. You can add spices and herbs of your choice to season it.

Use a potato peeler to peel the sweet potatoes. Cut the potatoes into bite-sized cubes. You can also slice the potatoes.
I highly recommend peeling the sweet potatoes for this recipe however if you don't want to peel the potatoes, make sure you wash them well before cutting.
Rinse the potatoes, add them into a bowl, and pat dry with paper towels.
Add salt and any seasoning of your choice to the potatoes and mix well.
Place a skillet on the stove, add oil to it, and heat on medium heat.
When the oil is heated, add the sweet potatoes and fry, turning the potatoes at intervals to fry all sides till they're crispy and tender inside.
Add black pepper.
Take off the heat and serve.
