Seasoning chicken thighs is simple and quick. For this baked chicken thighs bone in, I used simple dry spices and herbs including paprika, garlic powder, onion granules, parsley, thyme, black pepper, and olive oil to make the seasoning paste then rubbed it on the chicken.
This seasoning is simple but it makes the chicken tastes amazing. There are many other seasonings that can be used on chicken thighs including fried chicken seasoning, Peri Peri seasoning, Fajita seasoning, and Italian seasoning. I have used all the above listed on different occasions and they taste great and have their own unique flavor.

How To Bake Bone in Chicken Thighs
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 400F/200C.
In a small bowl, mix the paprika, onion granules, garlic powder, parsley, thyme, salt, black pepper, and olive oil.
Clean the chicken thighs and pat them dry with paper towels.
Rub the seasoning mix all over the chicken thighs covering all sides.
Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs skin side up on a baking tray.
Put the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake bone-in chicken thighs at a temperature of 400F/200C for 45 minutes.
When it's cooked tender inside with crispy skin, bring the baking tray out of the oven.
Let the chicken thighs rest for 5 minutes.

Yes, you can cook it from frozen without thawing. It's the same steps as the directions above however, if cooking it from frozen, add an extra 50 percent of the cooking time.
Add paprika, garlic powder, parsley, onion granules, black pepper, salt, and olive oil in a small bowl. mix till combined.
Brush the seasoning mix all over the chicken thighs covering all the sides.
Arrange chicken thighs on a baking tray
Bake in the oven at 400F for 60 minutes.
How Long To Bake Bone in Chicken Thighs
The size of the chicken thighs, if they are skinless bone in chicken thighs or skin on, frozen or fresh, the temperature of the oven, and where the baking tray is placed in the oven determines the cooking time. Below is a cooking time chart to guide you:
How long to bake bone-in chicken thighs is between 45-60 minutes
How long to bake bone in chicken thighs at 400F is 45 minutes.
For how long to bake bone in chicken thighs at 350F is 55 minutes.
How long to bake chicken thighs bone-in skinless is 45 minutes.
How long to bake frozen bone-in chicken thighs is between 60-70 minutes.
Check the chicken after 40 minutes if they're small sizes. If they're really large pieces, it could take up to 50 minutes to thoroughly cook them.

If you will consume it within a short period of time, store it in the fridge where it will last for up to 3 days.
To store it for a long period of time it's best to store it in the freezer where it will keep well for up to 6 months.
Baked chicken thighs can easily be reheated in the oven, microwave, or air fryer.
To Reheat it in the oven- Take it out of the Ziploc or container, line a baking tray with baking paper/parchment paper and arrange the chicken on the baking paper lined tray, put it in the oven, and reheat at a temperature of 180C for 6 minutes or till heated through.
To Reheat it in the microwave - place chicken on a microwave-safe plate, cover, and microwave at high settings at 30 seconds intervals till heated through.
Air fryer- Arrange it in the air fryer basket and air fry at 350F for 5 minutes or till heated through.
