    Hot Lemon Water

You can make it hot lemon water. This is especially good for winter days as it warms you up, and helps with cold. With hot water, the lemon infuses more and faster than in cold or room temperature water. Drinking it hot warms up the body.
To make it, add lemon slices to a mug, then add hot water. Stir, and let it infuse for a few minutes before drinking.

You can add other ingredients like ginger, and mint to taste.

    VARIATIONS

    • Add cucumber slices for more nutrients.
    • You can add other citrus fruits like orange and clementine.
    • Add fresh ginger for a slightly different taste and to get the benefits of ginger.

    • Combine with pineapple for a fruity taste.

    How To Store

It will last up to 2 days in the fridge but the longer it's kept, the more infused it is and it can turn bitter.

It can be stored for longer in the freezer. Take out the lemon slices, put the water in a freezer-safe container, then put it in the freezer where it will last for up to 6 months.

Served in a glass with the pitcher in the background.
