Infused water is also called detox water, fruit infused water and flavoured water. It is combination of fruits, spices, vegetables and herbs in water. The fruits and spices are put in water to infuse. With instant pot, the fruits are pressure cooked in water to release flavour in the water. Infused water tastes great, it's natural, has health benefits including helping to lose weight. It is suitable for vegetarians, vegans, paleo diets.

How to make Instant pot infused water
For infused water, you will need combination of any of these
Water - This is the base. Use safe drinking water
Fruits - You can use fruits like orange, clementine, apple, pineapple, bluberries, strawberries, mango, or wahtever your favourites fruit. You can also use frozen fruits.
Spices - Cinnamon, cloves, ginger, star anise are some of the spices you can use.
Herbs - Like thyme, mint, rosemary

Directions
1)Add all the ingredients in the instant pot. Close the lid, turn pressure valvde to sealing and set to manual pressure cook for 5 minutes.
2) Turn off instant pot and wait for natural pressure release. Don't quick release.
3) Open, strain infused water into pitcher, bottle or any suitable container. Discard fruit, put infused water in fridge to chill then serve.
You can also serve over ice.
Clementine and blueberry infused water
Ingredients for clementine and blueberry infused water

Clementine
Blueberry
Ginger
Cinnamon
Directions
1)Add all the ingredients in the instant pot. Close the lid, turn pressure valve to sealing and set to manual pressure cook for 5 minutes.
2) Turn off instant pot and wait for natural pressure release. Don't quick release.
3) Open, strain infused water into pitcher, bottle or any suitable container. Discard fruit, put infused water in fridge to chill then serve.
You can also serve over ice.

You can freeze and drop. In your drinks when needed. Pour the infused water into ice cube tray amd freeze. You can then transfer to freezer bags and use when needed
Can i make infused water without instant pot?
Yes you can do this method on stovetop or do the it the traditional way by putting all ingredients in pitcher and leave it to infuse.
Can i freeze my infused water?
Can i use frozen fruits for infused water?
Yes. The good thing is instant pot pulls out the flavour from frozen fruits unlike the traditional method.
How long does infused water last for ?
It can last for up to 3 days in the fridge. Make sure you strain the water from the fruits before storing for that long.
How to Store infused water
Instant pot infused water can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Make sure you remove and discard fruits before storing. It can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
