Cook the ground beef sauce- Place a skillet on medium heat. Add oil, then add chopped onions and garlic. Saute for 1-2 minutes then add ground beef.

Break the beef up, stir and cook till it is no longer pink.

    Variation

Creamy ground beef pasta- Make it creamy by adding a cup of heavy cream into the sauce before adding the pasta. If adding cream, then don't add the pasta water.

Cheesy- Add some cheese like cheddar or mozzarella to the sauce and pasta. Stir in some cheese in the sauce before adding pasta and sprinkle some on after adding the pasta. 100g of cheese or as much as you like.
I also sometimes sprinkle some Parmesan on the pasta immediately after serving it.

Vegetables: You can add vegetables to bulk it up, as a way of using leftover vegetables, or sneaking in healthy veggies for the kids. Mixed vegetables like carrots and peas go well with pasta.

What To Serve With Ground Beef Pasta

    Garlic butter bread

    No yeast bread

Cheese- Top with Parmesan cheese for a rich cheesy taste.

    Salads- Leafy vegetable salads,

    Coleslaw

    Cucumber tomato salad

    Roasted vegetables

    How To Store

It's best to store in individual portions for easy reheating.

First, let it cool completely. When it's completely cooled, add into a sealable container or an airtight container, label, and store in the fridge where it will keep well for 3 days.

If you want to store it for a longer time, then store it in the freezer from the get-go.

Pour in a sealable freezer-safe container, label, and store in the freezer where it will last up to 6 months.

To reheat in the microwave, Pour it on a microwave-safe plate, sprinkle with a tablespoon of water, cover with microwave cover, and heat on high settings of the microwave at 1-minute intervals till it's heated through.
