Since fish is naturally very tender, you don't need to leave the fish in the marinade for very long.
Marinated fish can be broiled, grilled, baked, or fried.
After marinating fish, remove it from the fridge for a few minutes prior to cooking so it comes to room temperature then cook as follows:
In the oven: Arrange the fish on a parchment paper-lined tray and bake in the oven at a temperature of 400F till the inside of the fish is tender and flaky, and the skin crisp. This takes about 15 minutes for average-sized fish fillets.
In the air fryer: Arrange the fish fillets or steaks in the air fryer basket and air fry for 8 minutes or until it's cooked.
