Variation
There are different variations to the cereal pancakes, you can have chocolate cereal pancakes, confetti, and even colored pancake cereal.
Chocolate - Add unsweetened cocoa powder to the batter and follow the directions. You might have to add a little bit more sugar if adding cocoa powder.
For Multicolored, split your batter into two to four and add food coloring of your choice to achieve the colors you want then follow the same directions to make your pancakes.
You can add bananas, confetti, add rainbow sprinkles to the pancake batter. The choice is yours. Be creative and have fun making your tasty breakfast cereal.
How to Serve
There are many options for enjoying these mini pancakes.
I like to enjoy it with fruits like strawberries and blueberries then top with some honey. My girls like theirs with strawberries, blueberries plus chocolate chips and butter.
Other toppings you can serve with are maple syrup, Nutella, cream cheese, marshmallows and you can pour milk over it.
I have seen people on social media make it mini but bigger than a dime size (i also did this at my first trial) and stack it on a fork to eat.
I personally don't like it with milk but If you would like to have it with milk, avoid putting the milk in the bowl first. Top with milk instead.
Tips
- Be careful when flipping over the pancakes to avoid them from sticking together.
- Use a small spatula or chopstick or kebab stick to flip your pancakes. You can use two spatulas to turn them over.
- Grease your pan, skillet or griddle with oil instead of butter. If using a nonstick pan, no need to grease.
- Don't squeeze out too much at a time so they are not too big as they will widen a bit when you've squeezed in the pan.
- Start cooking on low heat to give enough time to pipe the batter in the pan.
- You can make it more fun by adding coloring to the batter and making rainbow or multicolored pancakes cereal.
- As they are small sizes, they get cold quickly so keep them in the oven to stay warm while you make the other batches.
- You can have it as brunch or dinner and not just breakfast.

Absolutely. Just substitute the non-vegan ingredients. For example, use almond milk, oat milk or soy milk instead of whole milk and oil instead of butter.
