Apple sponge cake that can be dusted with cinnamon sugar or just plain powdered sugar . It's the perfect dessert served with ice cream or can be eaten on its own plain, you can even frost it if you desire.
Bursting with flavors and the combination of apple and cake is just perfect. I like to add ground cinnamon to the apples as the combination of apple and cinnamon smells and taste amazing. Don't feel like cinnamon? use vanilla extract or ground nutmeg.
Should you peel apples for apple cake?
I like to peel the apples before cutting into chunks as I like the outcome better than when unpeeled. I've tried it both ways and I prefer skin peeled however you don't have to peel the skin if you'd rather retain all nutrients from the apples.

I love an easy yummy pound cake! It’s great for when company is stopping by to have a cup of coffee. You can even have some fruit ready to serve along with the cake! My only question is you mentioned baking powder, yet I didn’t see if ever mentioned before or how much is used!
Thank you. I've now edited the steps.
