    Paprika

    Garlic granules

    Black pepper

    Italian seasoning

    How To Cook Frozen Chicken Thighs In The Oven

    Here's how to cook frozen chicken thighs in the oven:

    Step 1 - Remove all packaging from the chicken thighs.

    Step 2- Add paprika, garlic granules, black pepper, Italian seasoning, stock cube, salt, lemon juice, and olive oil into a small bowl. Mix till well combined.

    3- Brush the seasoning mix all over the chicken thighs.

    Step 4- Arrange the chicken in a baking dish or a baking tray, put it in the oven, and bake at a temperature of 180C/380F for 60 minutes or till cooked to an internal temperature of at least 165F.

    Step 5- Bring out the tray, and rest the chicken for a few minutes before serving.

    How Long To Cook Frozen Chicken Thighs

    The size of the chicken thighs, the temperature of the oven, and whether the chicken is boneless or bone-in determine how long it takes to cook chicken thighs in the oven. Here is a simple cooking time guide:

    Frozen bone in chicken thighs: 60 - 70 minutes at 180C
    Frozen boneless chicken thighs: 40-45 minutes at 180C

    The chicken is cooked when it is tender inside and not pink. When checked with an instant read thermometer, the thickest part of the chicken should read at least 165F. Cook chicken to this minimum temperature to make it safe for consumption.

    How To Store

    Let the chicken thighs cool completely, then pack them in a Ziploc and store them in the fridge for up to 3 days or store them in the freezer for up to 3 months.

    Reheat them in the oven, microwave, or air fryer. Once reheated, don't refreeze.

    Tips For Cooking Chicken Thighs From Frozen

    • If the chicken thighs are stuck together, separate them into individual pieces by running them under the tap. If this doesn't work, put them on a tray in the oven and bake frozen thighs for 5-6 minutes, then separate them into individual pieces before seasoning and continuing to cook.
    • Experiment with flavors. Some other simple seasonings you can use on the chicken are Jerk seasoning, chicken seasoning, Peri peri seasoning, Cajun seasoning.
    • Arrange the chicken in the tray in a single layer so they are well cooked evenly.
    • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before cutting. This allows the juice to redistribute in the chicken and makes them more juicy.
