    Easy air fryer omelette recipe that is fluffy, healthy, and packed full of flavor. This air fryer Frittata omelet is simple to make and is ready in less than 20 minutes. Let me show you how to make omelette in air fryer.

    We like eating omelette for breakfast because it's healthy, keep us full for longer and it's quick to make. I have posted how I make instant pot omelette (check it out if you have a pressure cooker), now let me show you how i make it in the air fryer!

    The texture and taste are just perfect! We usually have it for breakfast or brunch but this delicious egg frittata bake which is simply like a crustless quiche can be eaten at any time be it breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. 

    It will keep you full, it's packed full of protein, and healthy vegetables. Eat on its own or served with sides like boiled potatoes, bread, or roast potatoes.

    Air Fryer Omelette Recipe (Frittata) 

    This air fryer omelette frittata recipe is healthy, low carb, protein packed, and can be adapted to keto.

    It is vegetarian but you can add meat to the recipe.

    This healthy air fryer omelette recipe takes just 15 minutes to make and it's great as breakfast egg recipe for busy mornings.

    It is an inexpensive, healthy meal that can be made for the family. 

    This is a simple and quick recipe that will give you a delicious egg dish and you cannot go wrong with it. 

    It can be made ahead and stored.

    Equipment you'll need to make this

    Air Fryer - The air fryer I used here is the XL 5.5 liters. Here are some other brands I recommend - Cosori, Philips, Ninja, Power. 

    Oven dish or baking pan - will fit in the air fryer 

    Bowl - To mix the egg

    Whisk or fork

    Foil

    Ingredients

    Eggs - Bring the eggs to room temperature 

    Milk

    Spinach

    Spring Onions

    Garlic

    Tomato

    Salt

    Seasoning

    Oil

    Meat - Chicken, sausage or bits

    Cheese - Optional

    How to make Omelette in Air Fryer

    To make this you will need an air fryer safe container like an oven dish, or baking pan.

    In a bowl, break the eggs then add milk. Whisk till well mixed.

    Add in salt, black pepper, chopped spring onions, tomatoes, and seasoning, Mix together.

    Grease or spray the pan with cooking oil or butter. This is so the Omelette comes out clean from the pan. 

    Now, pour the egg mixture into the baking pan.

    Place the pan in the air fryer basket and air fry at a temperature of 140C for 10 minutes or till cooked through and a toothpick inserted comes out clean

    Turn onto a plate, cut up, serve and enjoy your Omelette frittata.

    How long to Cook Omelette Frittata in the Air Fryer 

    For this recipe using a 6 inch pan, I cook at a temperature of 140C for 15 minutes. The result is a delicious, light, fluffy, omelette. 

    If using a smaller or bigger pan you might have to adjust the cooking time. 

    Also cooking time varies with different brands of air fryer.

    How to serve Omelette Fritatta

    Some sides i like to serve with are:

    Air Fryer roasted potatoes 

    Bread rolls

    Boiled Potatoes

    How to Store

    Omelet is best eaten fresh but you can refrigerate and it's good for meal prepping. Let it completely cool then put it in an air-tight container and store it in the fridge where It will last for up to 3 days. 

    If stored in the freezer, it will last up to 1 month.

    To reheat, you can microwave, or air fry. To air fry, set the air fryer to 170C and bake for 5 minutes or till omelette frittata is heated through. 

    Top Tips 

    • You can chop the veggies night before and store them in the fridge. This makes cooking time quicker especially for busy mornings.
    • Add cheese if you prefer and you can also substitute milk with heavy cream.
    • Mix the ingredients well before pouring into the baking dish.
    • Grease/ spray the pan so the omelette comes out easily and cleanly. You can also line the pan with parchment paper.
    • No need to preheat the air fryer.
    • You can saute the onions and tomato before adding in the egg mix.
    • To check if done, insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean the eggs are set. 
    • You can use other veggies not listed in the ingredients as long as they are quick-cooking veggies. A great way of using up leftover meat and veggies.

    FAQ 

    Can I use this recipe for air fryer egg bites

    Yes you can however you will need to adjust cooking time as the egg molds are smaller.
